How do I create an account?
Open the Mintara Metals app, tap 'Sign Up', and follow the on-screen instructions. You can register using your email address or phone number.
How accurate are the gold and silver rates?
Our rates are sourced from trusted market data providers and updated in real-time. However, actual transaction rates at local jewellers or dealers may vary slightly.
How do I set a price alert?
Go to the Alerts section in the app, tap 'Add Alert', select the metal and karat, set your target price, and save. You'll receive a push notification when the rate hits your target.
How do I track my portfolio?
Navigate to the Portfolio section, tap 'Add Entry', and enter the metal type, weight, purchase price, and date. The app will automatically calculate your current value and profit/loss.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes, the app works offline with the last synced data. Live rates require an internet connection to update.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Your personal data will be removed within 30 days. You can also email us to request account deletion.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
What metals does the app support?
Mintara Metals supports gold (24K, 22K, 18K), silver, and platinum. We plan to add more metals in future updates.
How do the dealer calculators work?
The dealer tools include making charge calculator, wastage calculator, and billing calculator. Enter the weight, rate, making charge %, and wastage % to get the final amount.
The app is crashing or not loading. What should I do?
Try these steps: (1) Force close and reopen the app, (2) Check your internet connection, (3) Update to the latest version from Play Store or App Store, (4) Clear app cache from device settings. If the issue persists, contact us.
